Teach more. Hustle less.
I'm building Atlanta's best roster of teaching musicians. I bring the families, handle scheduling, billing and every payment conversation, and pay you every Friday. You teach, in students' homes, at your own studio, or online.

Why I'm doing this
I've spent my life on stages and in rehearsal rooms, and I know how most teaching gigs go. Stores and franchises take half of what the family pays, sometimes more. Marketplaces charge you for leads that never turn into students. You drive across town for a 30-minute lesson, the family cancels while you're on I-285, and you eat it. Then you wait a month to get paid.
I think great teachers deserve better than that, and I think families deserve teachers who are treated well, because those are the teachers who stay. So here's the deal, in writing. The exact rates are on your private pay sheet the moment you apply.
Per lesson taught. Top of the market.
A fixed rate for every lesson length and setting, the same for every teacher at each level, locked in writing for 24 months, and it never goes down. It's more than most Atlanta teachers net on their own once you count unpaid admin, marketing and no-shows. Apply and the full pay sheet is yours right away.
For comparison, published Atlanta lesson-company rates we found run roughly $17–$50 an hour, and marketplaces commonly keep half of what families pay.
Late cancels paid
Family cancels inside 24 hours, or isn't home? You're paid 100%. Families prepay, so it's already collected.
First lessons paid
Every first lesson at full rate, even if the family doesn't continue.
Weekly deposit
Everything taught through Wednesday lands in your account Friday.
Pay for a lead
Filling your schedule is our job. You'll never pay a dime for a student.
Bonuses for the things that matter.
Retention bonuses
$50 when a student you teach reaches 6 months, and $75 more at 12. Students who stay are the whole game, so we share it.
A raise every year
+$1 per lesson on every anniversary with us.
Your radius, respected
You choose your area. We stack lessons by neighborhood. Drives of 20 to 35 minutes add $5 per visit, all of it to you, and only if you say yes.
Showcase nights
Run or play a student showcase at a real Atlanta venue and get a $50 stipend. Your students on a real stage, with a real music director.
Referral bonus
$100 when a teacher you refer finishes their 20th paid lesson.
Bring your own students
Want us to handle billing and scheduling for your private students too? You keep 90%.

Background check & onboarding
We run the background check (on us), you sign the teacher agreement and code of conduct, set your radius and schedule, and you're on the roster.
Building the founding roster.
We're recruiting across every instrument, with the most demand for piano, guitar, voice, drums and strings. Our first in-home areas are Perimeter & Buckhead, North Fulton, East Cobb, with Intown and Decatur right behind. Online-only and studio-based teachers are welcome from anywhere in the metro.

Are teachers employees or contractors?
Independent contractors. You run your own teaching: your method, your repertoire, your calendar and your radius. We handle the families, scheduling, billing and payments. Pay is set high enough to cover self-employment tax, and we'll send a 1099 each year.
Is there a non-compete?
No. Keep every private student you already have, keep gigging, keep teaching anywhere else. The only ask is fair: families we introduce to you stay with Stage Pass for 12 months rather than going private behind our backs. If a family truly wants to go private, there's a simple written buyout.
How much does it pay?
Top-of-market pay per lesson: a fixed rate for each lesson length and setting, the same for every teacher at each level, and more than most Atlanta teachers net on their own once you count unpaid admin, marketing and no-shows. Apply and you'll see the full pay sheet right away.
What if a student cancels at the last minute?
If a family cancels inside 24 hours, or isn't home when you arrive (wait 15 minutes in-home, 10 online), you're paid in full. Families pay up front, so that money is already collected. First lessons are paid at your full rate even if the family doesn't continue.
How much will I have to drive?
You set a home base and a radius, and we only offer students inside it. We stack lessons by neighborhood so you go house to house, not across town. If you agree to a student 20 to 35 minutes away, the family pays an extra $5 per visit and all of it goes to you. Studio and online students are options too.
I tour and gig. Can I still do this?
Yes, and we want that. Give notice before a tour and we'll help cover your students with a vetted substitute. Your spots are waiting when you get back.
Do I need a teaching degree?
No. We need real musicianship (a degree, conservatory training, or serious professional experience) and real teaching ability, which we see in your demo lesson. Experience with kids is a big plus.
Who pays for the background check?
We do. It's standard for anyone teaching in homes with children, and it protects you as much as the family.
Can I bring my own students?
Yes, if you'd like us to handle their scheduling and billing. You keep 90% of their tuition.
