Stage Pass Music ("we") offers private music lessons in metro Atlanta. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we use it. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect
- Information you give us in our forms: your name, email, phone, ZIP code or neighborhood, details about the student (first name, age, instrument, experience, goals, availability), and anything you write in a message. Teacher applicants also share their musical background, links and home area.
- Basic technical information such as pages visited, the referring page, and campaign tags in the link you used (for example, which ad you clicked). Our hosting provider processes IP addresses for security; we store only a one-way scrambled version for spam prevention.
How we use it
- To contact you, match a student with a teacher, schedule lessons, bill tuition and provide support.
- To share the details a matched teacher needs (student first name, age, instrument, goals, lesson address and schedule, and a parent's contact information).
- To understand which pages and ads bring people to us, so we can spend less on advertising and more on teachers.
- To send lesson-related calls, texts and emails. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts.
What we never do
We never sell or rent your personal information, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes data for us
Trusted service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting and security (Cloudflare), email and text messaging, scheduling and billing software, payment processing, and background-check providers for teacher applicants. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Children
Lessons for children are arranged by parents or guardians, and we collect a child's information only from them. This website is not intended for children under 13 to submit information themselves. If you believe a child has sent us information directly, contact us and we'll delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for up to two years if you don't become a student, and student and billing records as long as needed for lessons and as required by law.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time through our contact form.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, let current families know.
